Rules to regular verbs in Past Tense

RULE: ADJECTIVE FORM	EXAMPLE	COMPARATIVE	SUPERLATIVE
1)  Only one syllabe, ending in E	Wide   Fine, Cute, large, wise	Add -R wider, finer, cuter	Add ST widest finest, cutest.
2)  One syllable adjective ending in one vowel and once consonant	hot, big, fat, thin	Dobble the consonant hotter, bigger, fatter	Dobble the consonant hottest, biggest, fattest
